Pollination Celebration

Let’s celebrate the Honeybees and Monarch Butterflies!

Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

$5/person (children under 2 yrs. are free)

This day is dedicated to some of Heckrodt’s most popular pollinators.  Visitors will have the opportunity to assist in tagging migrating Monarch Butterflies.  Learn about Monarch Watch and other cool things being done to protect these butterflies.  We’ll also visit the Heckrodt Honeybee Yard and go into the hives.  Learn about life in a hive and become a honey connoisseur.  Enjoy fresh honeycomb right-out of the hive.  We’ll finish this sweet day by dipping apples into honey.  Fun for the whole family!  All profits benefit Heckrodt’s Pollination Celebration Initiative.
